"NO MONEY MONTH"

REPORTING  ON:   “THE NO SPEND MONTH”

Richard and I decided that we were going to go a month without spending any money.
Well, sort of not spending any money.

On the first of February we took the amount of $5.00 in silver, which amounted to $92.00 and put in a coffee container.   I say coffee container because they are plastic instead of a metal can.   I guess you can still call them a can, but they’re not the same.  Anyway, this is all the money we had to spend during the month.  This money was used for everything including gasoline, fountain drinks, dog treats, etc.

We had to use the food we already had in our house and if we went out to eat we had to use money from the container.  (We didn’t eat out this month)

We ran out of Daisy’s meat treats and had to buy a different (cheaper) kind.  Needless to say, the cheaper treats stink and look like cat poop.  Daisy hasn’t complained yet, but much longer and she’d probably quit doing her tricks for the treats.

We had to spend money on milk, bread and $20.00 worth of gas in the car.

We put about 530 miles on the car.  We didn’t go anywhere either.  Richard drives me to work and comes and picks me up, but our house is only a mile and half from the office.  I guess if we ran out of gas and he couldn’t drive me, he would have to pack me on his back.  I’ve become used to being chauffeured.

Richard ran out of Diet Coke and had to drink Barq’s Root Beer, which we had in the fridge for the grandkids.  We have Sprite, but ever since he mixed the powder used to cleanse your bowels before a colonoscopy with the Sprite, he hasn’t been able to drink it.  If he even thinks about it he starts to pucker up, shiver and runs for the bathroom.  I keep telling him it’s all in his head, but he doesn’t believe me.  He quite enjoyed the Root Beer, but it has caused some noticeable differences.

In any event, I survived without my fountain drink every day, but Richard was a little worse for the wear as you can see.

As for this post. I love it! You two are such idiots! Ya can't take it with ya so why then hell are you trying to hoard it? Poor Daisy! You're so mean..cheap cat looking and smelling dog treats ain't worth the paws to pray for!
Besides, Richard don't look so good with the cane. Looks like he drank too much of that sprite concoction. We won't talk about the hairy face...
Ok,you proved your point, what ever the hell it was suppose to be. NOW GO SPLURGE ON REAL DOG TREATS!!!
